Is it true that American YouTuber Jimmy Stephen Donaldson, known as MrBeast, is going to die in 3 years?

A video doing the rounds on YouTube claims that MrBeast will “die in the next three years.” While the claim went viral, the 25-year-old American internet personality took to Twitter to clear the air.

A YouTuber named Bolo, shared a video on the platform with the title, MrBeast’s Disease Is Worst Than You Think. It features a thumbnail that shows Jimmy’s tweet suggesting he will pass away in three years.

In the 3-minute clip, the narrator shows viewers how Jimmy doesn’t have much time to live because of his diagnosis of Crohn’s disease.

“Thank god for this YouTube video or I wouldn’t have known I’m dying in three years,” responded MrBeast in a succinct tweet showcasing subtle humour to his disapproval.

He added another tweet to the thread politely urging people to end the trend of photoshopping tweets to create fake updates.

“Can we end the trend of photoshopping fake tweets of mine as thumbnails?” and ended it with “Thx.”

The viral YouTube video has amassed over 230,000 views. In the clip, the narrator speaks about how Jimmy started making Minecraft videos because he had to stay home due to his Crohn’s disease diagnosis.

“In 2015, when Jimmy was diagnosed, he already had a YouTube channel, with less than 1,000 subscribers. So, he had to stay home because of Crohn’s. And this disease made him becoming a professional YouTuber since he had nothing to do at home but to make Minecraft videos,” the voiceover states.

The clip received much criticism from MrBeast’s fans as it emphasised his disease being life-threatening.
