Salman Khan shares a warm hug with Govinda and Jeetendra as he attends trailer launch of ‘Dharamveer 2’ – WATCH video

Salman Khan attended the trailer launch of ‘Dharmaveer 2’ in Mumbai on Saturday. He captivated the audience with his charming presence, smiling and posing for photographers, and won the admiration of both fans and media.


In a video by ANI, Salman Khan is seen having an animated conversation with guests at the ‘Dharmaveer 2’ trailer launch. Veteran actor Jeetendra and actor-turned-politician Govinda were also present. Salman shared warm hugs with both, showcasing the camaraderie and mutual respect among Bollywood’s icons.

After the trailer launch, Salman Khan was asked to speak. Although brief, his comments were impactful. He noted that he attended the first part’s trailer launch, which became a hit, and expressed hope that the sequel would be even more successful. He concluded with, “Thank you. Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra!”

Earlier this month, Bobby Deol and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde revealed the much-anticipated ‘Dharmaveer 2’ poster in Mumbai. The event, attended by the film’s cast and crew, was filled with excitement. Deol conveyed his gratitude and enthusiasm, highlighting the event as a key milestone in the film’s journey.

‘Dharmaveer’ tells the story of Anand Dighe, a respected leader of the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. In the film, Eknath Shinde, a key figure in the first part, is depicted as Dighe’s protégé. Prasad Oak plays Anand Dighe, while Kshitish Date portrays Eknath Shinde.

Bobby Deol expressed his honor at being part of the event, praising the performance of the first film and congratulating CM Eknath Shinde on his successful two-year tenure. ‘Dharmaveer 2’ is scheduled for release on August 9, in both its original Marathi and a Hindi dubbed version.
