The late Queen Elizabeth II can be seen telling off a young Prince William in a surfaced clip. Now it’s sparked comparisons between the Prince of Wales and his youngest child Prince Louis
A throwback clip of the late Queen Elizabeth II scolding a young Prince William sparked comparisons between the future king and his youngest son, Prince Louis.
The adorable compilation was shared on TikTok with the caption: “Every time the Queen told off Prince William on the balcony.”
The video shows the Queen reprimanding a young William on several occasions, and even on his wedding day to Kate Middleton, she instructs him to stand up, an order he promptly follows.
The Royal family is known for their strict protocol when ‘on duty’, which could explain why the Queen was so keen to keep William in line. It was even suggested she might have thought his behaviour could be seen as disrespectful.
Fans couldn’t help but notice the striking similarities between William and six-year-old Louis. One TikTok user commented: “William and Louis are very similar.”
Others found humour in the situation as one said: “Typical grandma, love it”. Another joked: “William still behaving like a petulant child all these years later”, while a third added: “You better listen to the Queen, Prince.”
Previously, little Louis had been the centre of attention on Buckingham Palace’s famous balcony as he excitedly banged his fists in anticipation of an RAF fly-by.

During the first part of the event, he was spotted yawning widely and pointing out something interesting to his sister, Princess Charlotte.
He was seen yawning again shortly after the crowning of the King. TV footage later revealed that he had moved from his assigned row.
It is believed that there were plans for him to leave the service at some point. However, he made a return for the national anthem at the conclusion of the service and for the procession out of the abbey.
This comes after a leading expert exclusively told OK! that Prince William appears to be more “relaxed” over Kate’s cancer recovery.
Speaking about William spending two nights away from home in Cornwall, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond exclusively told OK!: “It’s great news that William feels relaxed enough to stay away for a night.
“I’ve no doubt that Catherine‘s parents will be staying with her, but even so it must be a step in the right direction. Hopefully Catherine is feeling stronger every day and, with the sun now shining, she’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors which, for her, has always been restorative.”
