Prince William ‘so annoyed’ with Harry’s ‘complaints’ amid Royal Family feud
Prince Harry and Prince William have been estranged for years, with the Duke of Sussex hitting out at his brother in his Netflix docuseries and debut memoir, Spare
Prince William has “no intention” of reaching out to his brother Prince Harry as their bitter feud continues, says a royal expert.
The once-close pair started seeing tensions in their relationship when Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced their decision to step down from the Royal Family. Since then, things have gone from bad to worse.
Harry hit out at his brother in his Netflix docuseries, before further detailing their broken relationship in his memoir, Spare. In the book, Harry accused William of physically assaulting him during one explosive fight. Now, royal author Tom Quinn has warned Harry and William’s relationship could be beyond repair.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, he said: “Having their own families means the brothers no longer need each other as they did after the death of their mother. Emotional support comes now from their partners, partners untainted by dysfunctional royal childhoods.”
Harry and William were brought closer together following the death of their mother, Princess Diana. The late Princess of Wales died in August 1997 following a car crash in Paris.
Quinn continued: “Yet even while complaining about his position as the spare, Harry won’t take the lead in trying to reconcile with his brother. He still expects William to make the first move in any attempt to reconcile.

“William is so annoyed with Harry’s complaints and attacks on the royals that he has completely shut down and has no intention of extending the hand of friendship – in case it gets bitten off.” While Harry is yet to reunite with his brother, he has recently returned to the UK to see his father.
The Duke of Sussex flew to London back in February after it was revealed the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer. The pair enjoyed a half-an-hour conversation together as they made small steps in repairing their relationship.
However, the King didn’t see his son when Harry flew back to the UK in May for a special ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. A spokesperson for Harry said Charles’ schedule had been too busy for him to meet with his son.
