Meghan Markle is said to be fuming over King Charles’ latest product launch, as it’s believed to have overshadowed the soft launch of her new lifestyle business

Meghan Markle is “furious” over King Charles’ latest product launch and is hoping to confront him, according to a source.

Earlier this year, Meghan soft-launched her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard and has teased fans with a sneak peek of some of the products she will be selling, including homeware and jams. While the official date for the full-scale launch is yet to be announced, Meghan’s recent promotions have been overshadowed by the King’s newest product – his organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey.

A source has claimed Meghan views the King’s new product launch as “no coincidence” and wants to confront her father-in-law. However, her husband Prince Harry is “holding her back”.

“She is trying to establish herself as a lifestyle mogul but now she’s competing with a royal rival,” the source told New Idea magazine. The King has also launched a new men’s cologne, Highgrove Splash, which has reportedly left Meghan feeling sidelined as she had plans to create her own line of men’s grooming products.

The source claimed: “She had no idea [about this] and now suddenly, as she sees it, there’s a glut of his products on the market. She’s one step away from calling Charles about the clash but Prince Harry is holding her back.”

They also claimed Meghan is “convinced” that Charles’ latest offerings are a “deliberate attempt to curb her success”. Despite the rivalry, it’s previously been claimed the Duchess of Sussex is hoping the Royal Family will support her new business.

A source suggested: “Meghan is looking for support wherever she can get it.” Speaking to OK! Magazine, they added: “Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list, but she is shooting even higher and would love to get King Charles to give his stamp of approval.”

Meghan’s trademark application also indicated plans to expand American Riviera Orchard into workout gear and dog treats. She has already gifted close friends and select celebrities with jars of jam made from fruit grown in her Montecito mansion’s garden.

Sources have claimed that Meghan is also planning to launch a rose as her first commercial product. While it’s still unclear if Meghan and Harry have a vineyard on their luxurious Montecito property, insiders told the Daily Mail that the rose wine will be produced in California and is expected to be a significant revenue generator for the Duchess.
