The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have become the focus of a new viral video as fans praised the couple’s relationship in home movie footage that has resurfaced on social media site TikTok.
Harry and Meghan have shared a number of personal insights into their relationship since going public about it in 2017, followed by their large-scale royal wedding a year later.
Uploaded to TikTok by user harry.nd.meghan on February 23, footage of the couple, which was self-shot and included in their bombshell-packed 2022 docuseries for Netflix titled Harry & Meghan, has gone viral, prompting a warm response from supporters.
Included in the compilation video cut from different episodes of Harry & Meghan is footage of the couple “off-duty” or away from public appearances, standing in the chicken coop on the Montecito property they purchased in 2020 after moving to the U.S. with their young son, Prince Archie, and where they live today with the addition of their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Also included is footage of the couple sitting on sofas acting affectionately toward one another. This footage was captured as they watched the live airing of their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Captioned “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a vibe 🩵,” the video has been viewed over 1.3 million times on the social media site so far, gaining in excess of 36,000 likes and over 800 comments, many of which have praised the couple and their demonstratively affectionate relationship.
“They are just the sweetest!” wrote one TikTok user.
“They are two really super down to earth and real people. Prince Harry is very much like his mother [Princess Diana] was. She was very down to earth and real,” posted another, with a further comment reading: “Such a beautiful couple. Love them and hope they stay strong and continue to love each other. 😅🙏👍.”
Harry and Meghan will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary in May and their public displays of affection at official appearances have increasingly found popularity on social media, most prolifically on TikTok.
In February, the couple made a three-day visit to Canada where they attended events connected with the one-year waypoint marking for the 2025 Invictus Games, which will be held in Vancouver and Whistler.During their visit, the couple were photographed holding hands and taking part in winter sports exercises, as well as meeting members of the Invictus community and organizers.
