A royal expert has attacked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for trying to buy the public’s respect through “networking” and “good PR”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been blasted by a royal expert who claimed the couple are trying to buy the public’s respect through good PR and “collecting trophies for their mantle”.

The Duke of Sussex has been at the centre of discussions recently after he was criticised for being nominated for the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service at a ceremony in Hollywood this month, with even a petition being set up urging the awards organisers, ESPN, to rethink their decision.

Now a royal commentator has slammed the Montecito couple, saying that “collecting trophies” is part of their “game”, however, they stressed that “the public see through these decisions”.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Talk TV: “I see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accepting more trophies for awards that I don’t understand what they’re for, than this life of service that they promised us. How many awards did Meghan accept for her podcast that was cancelled and slammed by her own network?”

She added: “This is all a game to them [Harry and Meghan]. I guess they’re trying to buy the public’s respect, they’re trying to buy good PR through networking and creating these opportunities to collect trophies for their mantle, but I think the public sees through these individuals.”
