Brittany Mahomes couldn’t leave her European vacation behind without the perfect Taylor Swift sendoff.
Brittany — who has become close to Swift since the Grammy winner started dating Travis Kelce last year — has been traveling throughout the continent with husband Patrick Mahomes over the past few weeks. (Mahomes and Kelce, of course, are teammates on the Kansas City Chiefs.)
“So long, London,” Brittany wrote over a clip driving through England’s capital city on Tuesday, July 9, which she embellished with a white heart emoji while uploading it to her instagram Story.
The caption is a reference to Swift’s song by the same name, off of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Brittany used the track itself to accompany the video.
While the Mahomes did manage to hit up London on their Euro trip — which also included a visit to Wimbledon — they were not in attendance at Swift’s three shows at Wembley Stadium, instead catching the Eras Tour in Amsterdam.
Though Brittany and Patrick weren’t on hand to see Kelce take the stage on June 23 — as part of a surprise appearance in the middle of Swift’s TTPD set — they were there to comfort the tight end in Amsterdam after he appeared to get emotional during his girlfriend’s set. (Kelce looked to be wiping away a tear while Swift performed a mashup of “So High School,” a TTPD track inspired her romance with the athlete, and “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My),” which came out in 2006 but contains the all-important Kelce and Swift numbers 87 and 89.)
Since attending her first Chiefs game back in September 2023, Swift and Brittany have spent extensive time together, cheering on their partners on the field — including the Super Bowl — and hitting the town with other A-listers for a girls’ night out.
