A recent face that appeared on BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s Instagram once came under fire for being a child predator.

Previously in June, BLACKPINK’s Jennie published a photo of herself with Edison Chen, who she worked with in the Adidas x Clot collab.

Edison Chen, the owner and designer of streetwear brand Clot that Jennie worked with, is a Canadian born Hong Kong singer and actor. At the time, it was reported that Jennie revealed herself to be a big fan of his work, and so came up with the idea to collaborate with him.

However, Edison Chen was once accused of being a child predator in 2011, after various intimate photos of him (31 at the time) and Cammi Tse (16 and underage at the time) were leaked. Additionally, Cammi Tse also admitted that she lost her virginity to Edison Chen at 16 years old.

This is not Jennie’s first time collaborating with controversial figures either, as she recently featured in the single “SPOT!” with famous Korean rapper Zico.

Meanwhile, Zico was mentioned in the notorious Burning Sun case, as he once mentioned a “golden phone” used by one of Burning Sun’s main perpetrators.

Designer Alexander Wang, who Jennie is close with, is also an extremely problematic person – having been accused of drugging and forcing sex on male and trans models for years, adding to the list of Jennie’s controversial collabs.
