Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s documentary put on hold after fears over new bombshells

A documentary which was set to expose ‘secrets’ about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been put on hold after claims the pair were wary of what it would feature

A new documentary promising to expose “fresh secrets” about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been abruptly put on hold.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were set to be the subject of a new German documentary, created by journalist and royal expert Ulrike Grunewald. The show was being produced for Germany’s ZDF network.

The documentary was set to give fans an inside look at Harry and Meghan’s exclusive Montecito neighborhood, while also throwing up some surprising details about Harry and Meghan’s pasts. However, Ulrike has taken to Instagram to announce the documentary won’t be released anytime soon.

She said: “The documentary about Harry and Meghan has to wait – research is still underway.” Meghan was reportedly worried about the documentary and what it might portray about her past.

A source told OK! Magazine: “There are many things that both of them, especially Meghan, don’t necessarily want in the public domain. It’s no secret that they both led colorful lives before they met each other, and while Harry has spoken about a lot of mistakes in his book, there are still things about Meghan we don’t know.”

They added that Meghan was well known on the Hollywood party scene before settling with Harry and claimed there are people willing to discuss her past, including her failed marriage to Trevor Engelson.

Ulrike and her crew have been recently spotted filming in California, where Harry and Meghan live with their children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The team behind the documentary is well-known in Germany for revealing secrets about the British Royal Family.

Just a week ago, the ZDF network broadcasted ‘Prinzessin Kate Und das Drama der Windsors’, which translates to ‘Princess Kate and The Drama of The Windsors’ in English. The show examined how the Windsors were managing without the Princess of Wales on the frontline following her cancer diagnosis.

Since stepping back from their Royal duties, Meghan and Harry have starred in their own Netflix docuseries titled Harry and Meghan, where they made several allegations against the Royal Family. Harry has also released his memoir Spare, where he made numerous explosive claims against his family.
