The Duke of Sussex appeared to be struggling to answer a key question about his family’s health woes during his latest interview.
Prince Harry appeared to be lost for words when he was asked about his family’s health woes during his latest appearance in a new documentary.
The Duke of Sussex appeared on ITV’s Tabloids On Trial documentary alongside other celebrities like Charlotte Church and Hugh Grant.
Harry talked about his legal battles with the British press, however, he appeared to be struggling to answer a question about his own family during his interview.
ITV’s Rebecca Barry asked the duke: “Both your father and your sister-in-law have been unwell.
“It’s a reminder, I guess, to all of us that life is precious.
Does it ever just make you think, ‘This is not worth it. Life is just too short for these legal battles’?”
Harry stumbled over his words as he replied: “Erm, I don’t think the legal, the continuation of these legal battles is the sort of, I…
“The two things are completely separate.
“Erm, you know, my father and my sister-in-law, and me, you know, following through on these legal battles are two completely different things.”
This year has proved to be challenging for the Royal Family after two of its most senior members were diagnosed with cancer and had to take a break from engagements.
King Charles was diagnosed with cancer back in February, while the Princess of Wales announced her shock cancer diagnosis in March.
Both have postponed their engagements this year, however, King Charles has fully returned to attending his public-facing duties.
The future Queen is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for her illness but she has not returned to royal engagements yet as it is understood she will do so when her medical team approves it.
Kate has only made two appearances this year, once in June when she attended Trooping the Colour and one earlier this month when she presented the winner trophies at the Wimbledon final.
