Prince Harry may have a fractured relationship with the Royal Family, especially his brother Prince William, but his sister-in-law Kate Middleton seems determined to make peace

Prince Harry has reportedly found himself an unlikely supporter, with his sister-in-law Kate Middleton apparently reaching out to him amid a series of setbacks.

Harry has had a tense relationship with the Royal Family after he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped back from The Firm three years ago. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since made a series of bombshell claims about their time in the Royal Family.

Meghan accused Kate of making her cry just days before her wedding in 2018, while Harry alleged that his brother Prince William left him terrified when he “screamed and shouted” at him during the Sandringham summit. A source has now said the Princess of Wales is looking to move past the drama.

They claimed Kate has been in touch with Harry in “late-night calls” as she hopes to “pave the way for long-term peace with the whole family”. However, it seems her husband isn’t as keen.Harry, Kate, William

The source said William has “made it very clear that he is not yet ready to sit down with Harry” to try and mend their broken relationship. However, they said Kate is still telling Harry there are a lot of people who are “rooting for him to be happy.”

Harry and Meghan have faced a series of setbacks ever since moving to America. The couple signed an exclusive $25million (£19.6million) deal with Spotify after stepping back from the Royal Family, but it wasn’t meant to be.

The partnership recently collapsed, with the couple saying it was a mutual decision. They later missed out on an Emmy Award nomination for their Netflix docuseries, titled Harry & Meghan.WINDSOR, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 10: Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex on the long Walk at Windsor Castle arrive to view flowers and tributes to HM Queen Elizabeth on September 10, 2022 in Windsor, England. The source said Kate has encouraged Harry not to worry about these “temporary setbacks”. Speaking to Closer magazine, they added: “It means an awful lot to Harry that she continues to show support and especially during desperate times like this.”

The source continued: “She feels very sorry for him right now. Seeing him go through all these setbacks is very difficult to witness and it tugs at her heartstrings.”

They said Kate has been watching Harry go through “so much very obvious stress and rejection”, but has been offering him words of advice during their late-night calls.
